Spartans Sweep St. John Fisher to Run Winning Streak to Six

The Case Western Reserve University baseball team swept a doubleheader against St. John Fisher College on Sunday afternoon, winning the first game 5-4 in seven innings on a walk-off base hit by freshman outfielder Cole Jarrett, and claiming a 7-2 win in the late game at Nobby's Ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Spartans have now won six-straight games and eight of their last nine to improve to 12-6 overall, including a 6-0 mark at Nobby's Ballpark this season. St. John Fisher, which received votes in the latest D3baseball.com Top-25 poll, dropped to 8-5 on the season with the two losses.
