The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's basketball teams will be ringing in the New Year on January 1, hosting a doubleheader against Hilbert College. The men's team will also have a mid-week non-conference game at Buffalo State. Then both the men and women will open University Athletic Association play against Carnegie Mellon at home on Saturday, January 7.
Meanwhile, the CWRU wrestling team will get the 2023 portion of its campaign started on Saturday, January 7 with a tri-meet in Ada, Ohio against Ohio Northern and Manchester.

Off to one of the best starts in program history, the Spartans (8-2) will look to conclude their non-conference schedule on a high note on Sunday against Hilbert (4-6) before hosting Carnegie Mellon (8-1) for the start of UAA play.
