The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the 2018 All-Ohio Indoor Championships at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio on Saturday.
The Spartan men finished second out of 18 teams with 96 points, while the women finished in sixth place with 61 points. Mount Union won both the men's portion of Saturday's meet, while Otterbein won the women's portion.
Senior Sam Merriman highlighted the Spartans performances as he finished first in the 3,000-meter run with a school-record and meet-record time of 8:33.13. He breaks his previous school record of 8:36.
