Case Western Reserve University junior Antonio Ionadi, a guard on the men’s basketball team, and first-year Mia Vargo, a jumper on the women’s track and field team, have been named the Spartan Club Athletes of the Week for their performances this past weekend.
Ionadi led the Spartans to a pair of University Athletic Association wins last weekend, averaging a team-high 19.0 points per game over the two contests. Ionadi shot a blistering 66.7% overall (14-of-21), including a 71.4% mark from three-point range (10-of-14). He added 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game over the two contests.
