Sixteen Case Western Reserve University athletes were named to the University Athletic Association Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team, as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. The award recognizes the top-achieving athletes in the conference both in the classroom and in competition.
CWRU was represented on the team by Vishwa Aduru (men's tennis), Jack Anderson (baseball), Jack Begley (men's cross country), Zack Carinci (baseball), Evan Faxon (baseball), KaiLi Gross (softball), James Hopper (men's tennis), Tyler Horvath (baseball), Greta Lazzara (women's soccer), Antonio Orsini (football), Jonathan Powell (men's tennis), Trey Razanauskas (men's cross country), Liv Thomas (softball), Matt Vatne (men's soccer), Anika Washburn (women's soccer), and Grace Yeung (softball).
