Singer Breaks School Record at the Kent State Tune Up

Highlighting the Spartan performances on Saturday, sophomore Logan Singer set a new school record in the 1,000-meter run as the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams finished competition at the Kent State Tune Up in Kent, Ohio.

Singer placed first in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:29.04, which breaks his previous school record of 2:32.43 set earlier this indoor season. In addition, first-year Parker Straight placed fourth in the event with a time of 2:34.02, while senior Jonathan Haling finished sixth with a time of 2:34.
