Singer Breaks School Record at Joe Banks Invite

Highlighting the Spartan performances on Saturday, sophomore Logan Singer set a new school record in the 1,000-meter run as the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams turned in strong performances at the Joe Banks Invitational, hosted by Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.

Singer placed first in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:32.43, which breaks the previous school record of 2:33.46 set by senior Michael Hradesky in 2017.

The Spartan men tallied two other first-place finishes throughout the invitational. Senior Jonathan Haling finished first in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:06.
