Case Western Reserve University graduate student guard Mitch Prendergast was named to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Third Team, becoming the first player in the program's history to claim a preseason honor from the organization.
Prendergast is coming off an outstanding campaign in 2022-23 during which he was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region, NABC All-Region, and All-UAA First Teams. He averaged a team-high 18.0 points per game and finished the year with 486 points, tied for the third-most ever by a Spartan player, and the highest total since Ed Saxon set the program record of 529 points during the 1989-90 campaign.
