Case Western Reserve University sophomore Dominic Oddo finished second out of nine competitors in the men's heptathlon at the All-Ohio Division III Multi-Events Championship on Sunday at Ohio Wesleyan University with a new school-record of 4,615 points.
Oddo's 4,615 points breaks the previous school record of 4,523 points set by Michael Cohara in 2012. Oddo placed within the top four of each event throughout the two-day championship. He won the jump with a leap of 6.78 meters (762 points), which set a new meet record in the event. Oddo also finished tied for first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.
