Case Western Reserve University sophomore Grant Mlack was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's track, following his performance at the Washington and Lee Carnival in Lexington, Virginia to open the 2016 outdoor season last weekend. Mlack recorded three top-three finishes at the meet, including a first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.86 seconds, the sixth-fastest mark by a Division III competitor this season, and the fastest in the UAA. He added a third-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.59 seconds, the second-fastest UAA mark and 12th among Division III competitors.
