Case Western Reserve University junior second baseman Rocco Maue was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Baseball Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. By virtue of their selection to the All-District squad, Maue will be included on the ballot for Google Cloud Academic All-America honors. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Tuesday, June 5th.
Maue was recently named the UAA Position Player of the Year, becoming the sixth player in program history to earn the conference's top award.
