Case Western Reserve University junior second baseman Rocco Maue was named the University Athletic Association Position Player of the Year, leading a list of five Spartans earning All-UAA recognition for the 2018 season, while the CWRU Coaching Staff, led by Head Coach Matt Englander, was named the UAA Coaching Staff of the Year.
Englander, along with assistants Nick Callahan, Branden Stucky and Andrew Rossman received the UAA Coaching Staff of the Year award for the first time in the program's history. The group helped lead the team to a 26-10 overall record, with the squad ranking as high as 10th in Division III during the season.
