Case Western Reserve University sophomore quarterback Ian Kipp was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week following his performance during the Spartans' 45-31 win at Waynesburg University on Saturday.
In his only pass attempt of the game, Kipp connected with sophomore wide receiver Noah Coyle for the 70-yard touchdown, helping to extend the Spartans' lead to 38-24 with 8:34 left in the game. He also helped the Spartans run down the clock on their final drive of the game, with 25 of his 46 rushing yards in the game coming on the clinching drive.
