AUSTIN, Texas – Senior Kerrigan Cain (Hartville, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) of the Case Western Reserve University baseball team has been named to the Capital One Academic All-America ® Division III baseball first team after posting a 4.0 undergraduate GPA in chemical engineering.
During the 2015 season, Cain carried a .336 batting average including 49 hits and 25 RBIs.
In 2014, Kerrigan was named to the D3 Baseball.com All-Mideast Region Third Team and earned an All-UAA second team selection. He is also a three-time University Athletic Association All-Academic honoree.
