Case Western Reserve University junior mid-distance runner Joe Jaster was selected to the field of the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as announced by the organization on Friday. The NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio from Thursday, May 26 to Saturday, May 28.
Jaster will be competing in the 5,000-meter run after qualifying with a school-record time of 14:14.74 at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Jaster is seeded 14th in the race, which will start at approximately 3:25 p.m. on Saturday. It is the first NCAA Outdoor Championship appearance for Jaster and his second overall NCAA Championship appearance.
