Case Western Reserve University junior guard Antonio Ionadi (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Hampton) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team, based on his athletic and academic achievements for the Spartans this season and over his career.
Ionadi is the first Spartan men's basketball player since David Thompson in 2013-14 to receive Academic All-District honors. He was one of just six players named to the All-District 7 team, which encompasses all Division III programs in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
By virtue of his selection to the All-District Team, he will be placed on the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
