Case Western Reserve University sophomore pitcher Tyler Horvath was named to the D3baseball.com All-America Second Team, following his outstanding 2022 campaign.
The award is the latest in a slew of postseason honors for Horvath, who was named to both the D3baseball.com All-Region Second Team and the ABCA All-Region Third Team. In addition, he was named the University Athletic Association Co-Pitcher of the Year and claimed All-UAA First Team honors for the first time in his career.
Horvath becomes the sixth player in program history to be named an All-American, joining former Spartans Rocco Maue (2018), Andrew Gronski (2014), Andrew Frey (2014), Jarrett Gish (2013) and Chad Mullins (2011).
