Case Western Reserve University sophomore sprinter Emily Hopkins, junior jumper Mia Vargo, junior sprinter Keith Cartwright and junior jumper Ben Pinkowski were named the University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for track and field, following their performances at the YSU Collegiate Holiday Classic on Friday.
Hopkins crossed the finish line in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.76 to place 11th in the event. She also added a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.
