Holman Sets CWRU Career Assist Record in Loss at Rochester

Case Western Reserve University senior Jimmy Holman collected five assists to set a new program record for assists over a career, but the Spartans ultimately fell short on Friday night, dropping a 108-79 contest at the University of Rochester. Holman broke former Spartan Jim Fox's (1993-97) record of 403 career assists, tying the mark on a three-pointer by David Black with 5:20 to play in the first half, and then breaking it with his third helper of the game, coming on a three-pointer by sophomore Javier Alvarez with 3:28 to play in the first.
