Frilling’s 25 Not Enough for Men’s Basketball in 78-65 Loss to Chicago

Despite pulling within two points with just over three minutes to play, the Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team lost to the University of Chicago 78-65 at Horsburgh Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland, Ohio. The Spartans fall to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in the University Athletic Association, while the Maroons improve to 6-8 and 1-2 in conference play.

First-year forward Cole Frilling scored 25 points, including 17 in the first half, to lead all scorers. Junior guard Antonio Ionadi added 15 points and four rebounds with senior forward Michael Hollis leading the squad with five rebounds.
