Five members of the Case Western Reserve University baseball team – first-year infielder/pitcher Zack Carinci, senior infielder Jacob Lott, senior pitcher Tony Smodilla, senior outfielder Benjamin Stawicki and sophomore infielder Nick Talarico – were named to the All-University Athletic Association Team, as announced by the conference on Friday morning.
It marked the first career All-UAA honor for each of the five players.
For the second-straight season, there was just one All-UAA team selected. Previously, all-conference honors had been divided into first and second teams, in addition to honorable mentions.
