Case Western Reserve University sophomore left-handed pitcher Nick Denove (Naples, Fla. / Barron Collier) was named to the 2020 Academic All-District Baseball Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, based on his success both on the field and in the classroom during his collegiate career.
By virtue of being named to the Academic All-District team, Denove will be on the ballot for Academic All-America honors. CoSIDA will release the Division III Academic All-America Baseball First-, Second- and Third-Teams on Tuesday, June 9 at noon.
Academic All-District candidates are nominated by their institution's Sports Information Director, and then voted on by other Sports Information Directors in the district.
