CWRU’s Morgan Named to Preseason All-America First Team

For the second-straight season, Case Western Reserve University senior wide receiver Colt Morgan was named a preseason All-American by, earning a place on the website's First Team, which was released on Thursday morning.

Morgan is the first Spartan in program history to be named a Preseason All-American twice, after being selected to the Third Team prior to the start of the 2019 campaign. He also became just the second first team honoree in team history, joining former Spartan quarterback Eli Grant (2003). In addition to Morgan and Grant, former Spartans Tom Brew (2007 second-team linebacker), Brian Calderone (2008 second-team defensive end) and Tony Opperman (2010 second-team guard) are the other members of the CWRU football program to earn preseason All-America honors, since D3football.
