Clark’s Career Day Gives Spartans a 96-79 Win at Allegheny

The Case Western Reserve University senior guard Matt Clark scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Spartans to a 96-79 win over host Allegheny College on Saturday, completing a two-game sweep for the Spartans at the Fourth-Annual Greg Richards Memorial Classic in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

The Spartans improved to 4-1 overall on the season with the win, including a perfect 3-0 record away from home, while Allegheny dropped to 0-4 for the campaign with the loss.

Clark shot a blistering nine-of-12 from the field, including a five-for-six day from long range. The 27 points surpassed his previous career-high of 24, scored during the Spartans game against the University of Rochester on February 22, 2015.
