Case Western Reserve University freshman multi-event competitor Jordan Butler and senior thrower Nimi Gupta were named the University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for men's and women's field events, following their performances at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio this past weekend.
Butler claimed the title in the high jump to help the Spartan men win the invitational this past weekend. Butler earned his first-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.93 meters, which currently ranks second in the UAA and 16th in Division III.
