The University Athletic Association announced Case Western Reserve University men's senior runner Jack Begley as the Men's Most Outstanding Runner at the 2023 UAA Outdoor Championships held on April 22 and 23 in Chicago on Monday.
It is the first career conference special award for Begley, who has earned six career track and field All-UAA honors for top three finishes. He is the first Spartan to be named UAA Outdoor Most Outstanding Runner since Nathaniel Wahner in 2017 and sixth-ever member of the CWRU men's track and field team to be named a Most Outstanding Performer at the outdoor championships.
