Case Western Reserve University junior Jack Begley was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Division III Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Second Team following his achievements both athletically and academically during the past season.
Begley becomes the fifth Spartan this season to earn the honor joining KaiLi Gross (softball), Anika Washburn (women's soccer), Elizabeth White (women's soccer), and Jacob Hall (men's soccer) and the 132nd selection in the history of CWRU athletics. He is the 10th athlete in the history of the CWRU men's track and field and cross country programs to win the award and the first since former Spartans David Hall (first team) and Brian Holden (third team) in 2020.
