Case Western Reserve University senior catcher Jack Anderson was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week and sophomore pitcher Kyle Gearding was named the conference's Pitcher of the Week, following their performances over five games for the Spartans last week
Anderson hit .462 (12-of-26) with a .769 slugging percentage and a .481 on-base percentage. He started all five games (four at catcher and one at shortstop) and totaled eight doubles, four runs, eight runs batted in, one walk, and two stolen bases on three attempts while striking out only once in 27 plate appearances.
