Throughout the 2021 season, the Spartans will be celebrating 50 Years of Football at Case Western Reserve University. While the Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University federated in 1967, the two schools did not merge their football teams in 1970. Since the merger, the CWRU football program has gone 247-239-4 in its 50 seasons of existence.
At each home game during the 2021 season, CWRU will be releasing an all-decade team, honoring some of the top players on the team during that time period. The all-decade teams will be included in each game program, and then posted to athletics.
