The Case Western Reserve University baseball team will be entering the 2022 campaign looking for a return to normalcy. Included in that will be the team's first full season schedule and first University Athletic Association games since the 2019 campaign. However, 'normalcy' also includes two other important factors for the Spartans – a return to the success that includes five NCAA Division III Tournament appearances since 2011, and a path to that success that will include what will likely be the toughest schedule in all of Division III baseball this year.
The Spartans are coming off a 30-game season in 2021 that saw the team finish with an impressive 20-10 overall record.
