Why the Carolina Panthers blew it by not drafting an offensive lineman

The Carolina Panthers entered the 2018 NFL Draft with a host of roster holes to fill, including several needs scattered across the offensive line. Center Ryan Kalil is injury prone and retiring. Starting guard Andrew Norwell left via free agency and Taylor Moton may or may not be up to filling that void. Left tackle Matt Kalil missed 14 games in 2016 and was inconsistent in 2017.

Just look at the very early projections for the second string offensive line: LT Amini Silatolu, LG Jeremiah Sirles, C Tyler Larsen, RG Dorian Johnson, RT Zach Banner.
