The Miami Marlins of the MLB had so many cases of COVID-19 that they didn’t have enough healthy players to field a team for their home opener. Of course it was the Marlins, too. That’d be like if the Browns were the first NFL team to have to postpone or even forfeit a game due to Coronavirus cases: not surprising with the luck of that franchise. Regardless of which team had the issue, this outbreak and subsequent rescheduling of a baseball game could have major repercussions on the rest of the MLB season. And the NFL needs to be taking notes.
