The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that they have reached an agreement on a new two year contract extension with veteran linebacker Thomas Davis. The move ensured the linebacking corps will be sustained a while longer, and serves as the perfect way to bridge the gap between the current group and Shaq Thompson's development in the future.
Davis was fantastic in 2014 where he contributed 100 tackle and 2.5 sacks en route to forming the NFL's best linebacking corps, and winning the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
