Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis has been named to the 2018 NFL Pro Bowl following an injury to Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr. This will be the third overall Pro Bowl appearance for the 34 year old Georgia native, and his third straight Pro Bowl nomination in his 13 year career. Davis will be joining fellow Panthers Graham Gano and Trai Turner for the January 28th contest.
Davis tallied 88 total tackles this year, including 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery. Despite his age and injury history, Davis has shown little signs of slowing down, and is a fierce competitor on the field.
