The Panthers will pick up the fifth-year option for wide receiver DJ Moore

The Panthers have informed Drew Rosenhaus — DJ Moore’s agent — that they intend to exercise the fifth-year option for the dynamic receiver.

I know this isn’t exactly surprising news, but it’s a good sign that Moore will be around for the full length of his rookie contract. He has been electric in his short time with the Panthers, racking up 208 receptions for 3,156 yards and 10 touchdowns in 46 games.

This move will cost the Panthers $11 million in cap space in 2022, so it’s a pretty good deal given the amount of production they get from Moore on offense.
