The Carolina Panthers ended their disastrous 2018 season on a positive note with a 33-14 win over the New Orleans Saints earlier today, and thanks to the Atlanta Falcons beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a last-second field goal by Matt Bryant the Panthers clinched a third place finish in the NFC South with a 7-9 record.
Due to their third place ranking, the Panthers will face the third place teams of the NFC East and NFC North in 2019—Washington and the Green Bay Packers.
