With the availability of former Browns defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, many Panthers fans got the itch to add some mass between the dynamic duo of Brian Burns and Haason Reddick. The team made a similar and likely more cost-effective move by adding former Titans defensive tackle DaQuan Jones. While nothing is official yet, Ian Rappaport is reporting a one year deal is expected.
Before this move, the Panthers only had four players on their roster officially listed at defensive tackle, only two of which most fans have actually heard of (Derrick Brown and Bravvion Roy).
