The power rankings are out following the NFL’s first week of action, and the Panthers are seen as a top-third team by the experts who take the time to do these rankings. While their 16-8 win over the Cowboys in the season opener wasn’t as convincing as we would have preferred, it was convincing enough to see the Panthers hover around the top ten in the power rankings as we head into Week 2.
