The Carolina Panthers ended their 2019 season with a 5-11 record after losing their final eight games, including two straight losses of 32 points (38-6 at Indianapolis, 42-10 vs New Orleans), but not all is lost — the consolation prize for suffering through the disappointment of the last eight weeks is a pick in the top 10 of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Due to their 5-11 record, the Panthers have ‘earned’ the No. 7 overall pick.
It’s going to be an interesting offseason in Carolina, that’s for sure. The Panthers are without a full time head coach and have multiple holes on their roster that need to be filled with quality players.
