The Carolina Panthers aren’t sitting on their thumbs today. They have reportedly reached an agreement with wide receiver Robby Anderson on a two year, $20 million contract.

They might well have been holding this deal until they got Cam Newton’s money off the books. It also doesn’t hurt that this announcement gives fans and press some non-Newton related news to chew on.
