Ron Rivera to split secondary coaching duties between two assistant coaches

According to a tweet from Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer, Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera has decided not to hire a new secondary coach to replace Curtis Fuller. The secondary will be coached by Jeff Imamura and Richard Rodgers—two current members of the staff—instead.

Ron Rivera indicated he won't hire a coach to oversee secondary in Curtis Fuller's former role. Instead, he'll go with Jeff Imamura with corners and Richard Rodgers with safeties.

Imamura is in his second season as a member of the Panthers’ coaching staff but has 11 years of NFL coaching experience.
