Ron Rivera called in to WFNZ on Wednesday and got surprisingly emotional for it being so early in the morning.
Rivera said he would "make no apologies" for the Panthers making the playoffs in 2014 and continued to say that nobody felt sorry for Carolina when they were leaning on its 8th running back because of depth and starting "a rookie from the Canadian football league."
It was oddly-emotional from Ron, and it was awesome to hear. He ripped pundits chiding the Shaq Thompson pick, and teased that he's seen people pick the Panthers to finish last in the NFC South.
