The Panthers have added another running back to their roster after claiming former Panthers, Eagles, Chargers, Eagles, Panthers and Patriots running back Kenjon Barner off waivers. Cornerback Josh Hawkins, who the Panthers claimed after being released by the Packers in September, was waived to make room for Barner on the roster.

Hawkins saw limited playing time with the Panthers and was mostly used on special teams as a gunner.
