Can the Carolina Panthers finish the season on a high?

The Carolina Panthers close out their 2020 season with a home tie against the New Orleans Saints at Bank of America Stadium. There is little to play for other than pride for Matt Rhule’s men, but Sean Payton has the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in his sights if they can better the Green Bay Packers’ result on the final day.

With the Packers making a tricky trip to the red-hot Chicago Bears – who are in the postseason hunt themselves – this might be a real opportunity for the Saints to gain home-field advantage and a good period of rest, although the former is unlikely to matter that much will limited fans in the stands due to COVID-19 health concerns.
