Here we GO! Week 1, a chance to set the tone for the 2019 season, starts off with the 2018 NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams. And boy, do they have some good players. The Carolina Panthers however have some good players of their own. Let’s examine which matchups will matter the most.
If I’m the Rams’ defensive coordinator, this is the matchup I have penciled in. The Panthers offensive line has some issues on the left side, with Greg Van Roten coming off an underwhelming finish to the 2018 season and Daryl Williams playing left tackle for what should be a considerable part of the season (if not all of it).
