We finally made it, y’all! Week 1 is has arrived, and the Panthers will open the 2021 regular season against the Jets inside the friendly confines of Bank of America Stadium.
This game will be an interesting matchup to follow as we see how quarterback Sam Darnold fares against his old team. The Panthers are hoping to build off a disappointing 5-11 season in 2020 by taking the next step in their rebuild, and a win over the Jets in Week 1 would be a great way to start the season off.
The Jets will be starting over in 2021 with a new coaching staff and a new quarterback after a dismal 2-14 season last year, so this should be a winnable game for the Panthers as long as they can execute their game plan and avoid beating themselves.
