Finally, thankfully, the Carolina Panthers have reached the bye week. Other years we would have bemoaned this late of a bye week, wondering why we couldn’t be blessed with a bye while Christian McCaffrey was injured early on in the year. This year, though, with the playoffs seemingly a pipe dream, this gives the young players on the team a chance to regroup and recover mentally.

In his homecoming, Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater may have pressed a little too much. While he did throw for over 250 yards, his usual efficiency through the air was nowhere to be seen.
