Panthers vs Buccaneers: Offensive preview

The Carolina Panthers followed two positive and progressively competent offensive performances with maybe their worst showing of the season in Jacksonville. It was like watching all of the worst parts of the Frank Reich portion of the season all in one game. The offensive line couldn’t hold up for more than a second, especially on third downs early in the game. When they started to protect better, Bryce Young started missing open receivers. When Young started finishing his rhythm and hitting his receivers, they dropped it. Everyone failed, and the team scored zero points for the first time since they were beaten by the Michael Vick Falcons by a combined score of 71-0 across two games in 2002.
