Minnesota released Wright, who they drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 draft, after he totaled 18 receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns this past season.
The 5-foot-10, 191-pounder has posted 153 receptions for 2,039 yards and 10 touchdowns in six years. He’s been a productive player on third down, as 41 percent of his career catches and 45 percent of his career yardage have come on third down.
