Panthers set for preseason finale with Steelers

For the first time under coach Ron Rivera the Carolina Panthers can finish a preseason schedule undefeated. None of these games obviously count in the standings, but maintaining a winning culture means competing every time on the field and despite injuries, this group has done just that.

A familiar opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina have played 16 consecutive seasons and all but four years since beginning play in 1995. However, this year marks a special occasion as former minority stake holder, now sole Panthers owner David Tepper returns to face his former franchise.

Even if Carolina falters, there is reason to remain optimistic as every 3-1 preseason with Rivera has ultimately resulted in an impressive regular season.
